Role Purpose:
to manage the company’s supply of products and services. With responsibility ranging from providing cost-benefit analysis, negotiating prices, managing client expectations, and overseeing the entire supply chain process.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to manage end to end process of company’s procurement; from requisition to payment, including supplier on-boarding, order placement, and invoice processing, and find opportunities for process efficiencies
- Responsible to ensure the tender strategies, tender documentations and tender decisions are in compliance with the prevailing policy and procedures
- Review and implement a new SOP for procurement cycle
- Maintain an up-to-date vendor database
- Oversee asset tagging, inventory, and lifecycle management
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions, including pricing, payment terms, and performance metrics
- Review the existing contract to ensure that the contracts are up-to-date, covered all required legal aspects, and followed current business practices
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and competitive pricing
- Develop and implement a comprehensive
- Generate reports and analyses on procurement and asset management procurement strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Procurement (finance and information technology related sector will be advantageous)
- Having proper knowledge in spend and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management
- Broad knowledge of products and services commonly used in the financial and/or information technology sector
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong negotiation skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Effective communication, internal and external
- Digital literacy skills; the ability to learn and utilize our digital platforms to successfully perform the role function (familiarity with G-Suite, Slack, CRM, ERP and Microsoft etc. is an advantage)
