About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and customer-focused Account Manager to join our growing POD-based sales organization. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of activated clients—ensuring satisfaction, retention, and commercial expansion through upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
You will work closely with your POD teammates (including SMs, Onboarding, Customer Success, and Support Specialists) to deliver value and ensure long-term customer success. This is a high-impact role for someone who is commercially driven and passionate about building long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management: Own and manage a book of active clients post-onboarding, ensuring ongoing satisfaction, engagement, and retention
- Renewals & Expansion: Drive timely renewals and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities based on client needs, product usage, and business growth
- Strategic Relationship Building: Serve as the primary commercial point of contact, developing trust and strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Success Monitoring: Track product adoption and success metrics to proactively intervene when usage drops or churn risks appear
- POD Collaboration: Work closely with the SM, Customer Success & Support within your POD to ensure a seamless and proactive customer experience
- Value Communication: Continuously demonstrate the value of our solutions through QBRs, ROI discussions, and strategic check-ins
- Customer Advocacy: Identify referenceable clients, case study opportunities, and testimonials to support broader marketing and sales efforts
- Issue Escalation: Coordinate with support or technical teams to resolve any critical issues impacting the account
- Account Planning: Develop account plans with clear retention and growth strategies for high-potential clients
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in account management, customer success, or client relationship roles (B2B SaaS or platform experience preferred)
- Proven track record of managing enterprise accounts with strong renewal and upsell performance
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand client business needs and align them with product solutions
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Experience using CRM and account management tools (e.g., HubSpot
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, team-oriented POD environment
- Professional proficiency in English is mandatory
